Accomodation

Set amongst beautiful tropical gardens, the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang is located at the north of the Penang island, around 45 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes from George Town.

This resort is our trusted getaway spot with spa massages, cocktails by the pool and the friendly staff, we hope you feel as pampered and rejuvenated as we did during our visits.

All guests are invited to a 2-night stay at the Resort, where the Wedding (Ceremony, Tea Ceremony and Reception) is hosted.

Check-In/Check-Out

Check-in: 4th April 2026, 3pm onwards.
Check-out: 6th April 2026, at 12pm.

Costs

We will be covering 2 nights' stay for all our guests. However, any room charges (room service, mini bar etc) will be settled by guests when checking-out.

Breakfast

Breakfast Buffet is available for all guests at the Spice Market Café with a selection of local and international cuisines.

Flights

Our best travel experiences to Penang were via Singapore or Hong Kong.
Stopping over at the Malaysia KL airport may be tricky to navigate for new visitors; you may run into language or cultural barriers.

Things To Do in Penang

Batu Ferringhi
Night Market

Street food right at the doorstep of the resort. Save yourself the hassle of travelling if you just want to try some local food and take it easy.

George Town

This is where the Penang Street Art is located, perfect for those who would want to visit boutique/ local shops; wandering around with a snack in their hand.

Tropical Spice Garden

If you are feeling adventurous, the tropical Spice Garden is an eco-attraction - a showcase garden that houses over 500 species of herb, spice and tropical plants.
